Russian dairy manufacturer Wimm-Bill-Dann has criticised a competition ruling that has ordered the company to lower its prices in the city of Omsk.

Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has accused Wimm-Bill-Dann of increasing its consumer prices without a corresponding increase in “purchase prices”. The watchdog has asked Wimm-Bill-Dann to lower prices on the SKUs in question.

A Wimm-Bill-Dann spokesperson said it would “execute” the order from the FAS but would appeal the ruling at the regional court “and higher courts if needed”.
