Simplot launches Birds Eye Li’l Fishies

Australian food maker Simplot is expanding its line up of frozen fish products under the Birds Eye brand with the launch of Li'l Fishies.

The line includes two varieties: hoki & potato and hoki & hidden veggies. The company said the products are an "easy way to disguise vegetables from fussy little eaters".

Marketing manager Ben Dalla Riva commented: "At Birds Eye we know feeding fussy children can be a daily battle for some parents who are trying to cater for the kids without compromising on nutrition. Not only are Birds Eye Li’l Fishies fun and delicious, they also contain the goodness of fish, vegetables and potato."

Birds Eye Li'l Fishies are available throughout Australia with an RRP of A$5.60 (US$4.34).
