UK retailer Tesco has shuffled the top management team for its operations in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
John Christie has been appointed the general director of Tesco in Slovakia, a spokesperson informed just-food.
Christie has replaced Phil Clarke who will head up the British retailer’s operations in the Czech Republic.
Christie has worked for Tesco for 27 years. He has held various positions, including leading Tesco’s Japanese and Polish businesses.
Meanwhile, Jesper Lauridsen will takeover from James Simister as sales director in the Czech Republic.
