Sweden’s frozen food giant Findus revealed on Friday that it is to invest €3.8m (US$3.5m) into the renovation of its plant in Boulogne-sur-Mer, northern France.

The company explained that the renovation would increase both the output at the fried fish facility from 13,000 tonnes a year, and the levels of personnel training.

Findus produces a large range of frozen food products worldwide, and reports an average annual turnover of €806m.
