Atria, the Finland-based food group, has found a buyer for Swedish sandwich business Lätta Måltider, the company announced today (23 June).
Richard O’Brien, founder and owner of Fresh Direct, has agreed to buy the business for an undisclosed sum.
Atria first announced in April that it was looking for a buyer for Lätta Måltider, which produces sandwiches and salads on trains, convenience stores and supermarkets in Sweden.
Lätta Måltider’s operations in Stockholm and Östersund are not included in the sale and will be closed down as planned, Atria said.
