Cadbury is set to see the managing director of premium chocolate arm Green & Black’s leave the company at the end of February.

Dominic Lowe, who has been leading the Green & Black’s business since 2007, will be replaced by Sarah Barron, previously director for developed markets at Cadbury’s chocolate category innovation centre.

Green & Black’s founder Craig Sams said: “I would like to thank Dominic for his energy, passion and considerable contribution to the business. He will be missed by everyone and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”

He added: “We look forward to welcoming Sarah as managing director. Her international experience together with her passion for chocolate is exactly what we need as we continue to recruit devotees of the brand around the world.”

Lowe joined Green & Black’s two years ago as an executive of parent company Cadbury. Speaking of the departure, he said: “Having got the taste for running a business and taking it to a global level, I’ve decided now is the time to move on in search of new entrepreneurial challenges.”
