UK retailer The Co-operative Group has announced plans to include storage instructions for fruit and vegetables on its fresh produce bags.
The move is designed to help tackle the growing problem of household food waste.
The instructions will be printed on the bags themselves and is part of the UK government-backed ‘love food hate waste’ drive.
