US chocolate producer The Hershey Co has appointed Euro Food Brands as its official importer and distributor in the UK.
Euro Food Brands said it believes there are clear growth opportunities in the UK through “both everyday purchasing and via seasonal and gifting occasions”.

Global sales of Hershey’s products stands at over US$5bn a year.
“We’re already looking at some exciting new developments for 2011 to provide clients and consumers with unique offerings. Right now, the priorities are maintaining supply to the existing Hershey’s customer base and providing higher support and service levels to all current and new clients,” said Euro Food Brands managing director Stephen Barlow.
Euro Brands’ portfolio includes Illy coffee, V8 juices and De Cecco pasta and sauces.
