UK food and clothing retailer Marks & Spencer has said it intends to unveil its turnaround plan in mid July.

The company said that since his appointment as chief executive on 31 May 2004, Stuart Rose and the senior management team have made good progress in reviewing the group’s activities.

“Marks & Spencer intends to set out its plans to improve operating performance across the group, as well as providing an update on current trading, on Monday 12 July 2004,” the company said.
