Mars Inc is to launch two permanent products to its Galaxy chocolate portfolio in addition to updating the brand’s packaging.

From September, the line will include Galaxy Honeycomb Crisp and Galaxy Nut Crunch. New packaging and graphics will also launch across the entire range of block, bitesize and bar products from 11 August.

Galaxy Honeycomb Crisp will be available in 40g & 114g variants, and the Nut Crunch bar in 114g bars.

Mars said it is hoping to build on an increased consumer appetite for honeycomb and the popularity of hazelnuts and almonds with the two additions.

A media campaign, entitled ‘Silk just got silkier’ will accompany the launch.
