UK food and clothing retailer Marks & Spencer has announced the appointment of Ian Dyson as group finance director.

Dyson joins Marks & Spencer from The Rank Group, where he has been group finance director for five years. His start date is currently being finalised.
Further to the announcement in November 2004, Alison Reed, the retailer’s current finance director, will leave at the end of April.
