Marks & Spencer has said that will roll-out about half of the initiatives being tested at its trial “green” stores to new builds and stores it is refurbishing over the next year.
“The key learnings from Bournemouth and our two other test stores will be integrated in new store design and refurbishment,” a spokesperson for the retailer told just-food.
Green initiatives include slower running escalators that save energy when not in use, glass roofs and energy efficient lighting.
