Nestle has added a limited edition white chocolate variant to its Kit Kat Chunky brand in the UK.

Available from 17 September, Kit Kat Chunky White is being launched as a result of a campaign by the confectioner for consumers to choose from four limited-edition variants. A peanut butter line won the contest but Nestle said the white chocolate bar was the “fastest-selling” of the four products in some retailers.

The launch, Nestle said today (11 September), comes on the back of a successful year for the Kit Kat Chunky brand with sales up 12.7% in the 12 months to the end of August.

The bar will have an RRP of GBP0.56 (US$0.90).
