UK retailer Sainsbury’s has recalled its Belgian Wholenut Dark Chocolate due to it possibly containing pieces of hard plastic.
The 200g product has a ‘best before’ date of 17 September 2010, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) announced today (4 November).
Point-of-sale notices will be shown in stores, explaining to customers why the product has been recalled.
The FSA is urging anyone who has bought any of the affected chocolate to return it to the store for a full refund.
No other Sainsbury’s products are known to be affected.
