has been named top cheddar in the UK at the British Cheese Festival in Gloucestershire.Go deeper with GlobalData
Its distributors, Glasgow-based McLelland, are hoping that the award will prompt big new orders for the cheese. Seriously Strong was up against about 750 other cheeses for the title.
The cheese, which is made in Stranraer, has been criticised for its raunchy advertising campaign.
