The Society of Food Hygiene Technology has awarded a Fellowship to three of its most committed and respected members.

Biologist Roger Bradbury, who is joint managing director of Hygiene Services, and Bowen Thomas, risk manager at Mars Confectionery, Slough, received the Fellowships for their unstinting work in support of the Society ‘s London and Home Counties branch, organising regular events to encourage the highest standards of hygiene within the local food industry.

Deborah Puckering, who provides technical consultation and training through her company, Willows Services, receives the Fellowship for her equally longstanding and valuable support of the Society’s Yorkshire and North East Branch.

The three new Fellows join a select band of only 19 other members whose contributions to the Society have been recognised with a Fellowship award.

The presentations were made at the Society’s Lecture and Annual Luncheon held at the Hotel Intercontinental, London, on 14 November.
