UK firm Wellness Foods is reportedly looking at the possible sale of honey brand Rowse.

Reports in the UK and Ireland suggest Wellness, which is backed by Irish investors John Magnier and J.P. McManus, has hired investment bank Rothschild to advise it on its options for Rowse. Officials at Wellness could not be reached for comment

Wellness, set up in 2005, bought Rowse a year later. The company says Rowse is the “leading supplier” of honey in the UK.

Other acquisitions include a deal in 2008 to buy muesli firm Dorset Cereals.
