US-based agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) has appointed previous Kohler director Steven Cassady as its vice president of procurement.
In a newly-created position, Cassady will oversee all ADM non-commodity purchasing functions and will report to John Rice, executive vice president, commercial and production.
Most recently, Cassady was director of global procurement for plumbing business Kohler. He has also held supply chain management positions for Lucent Technologies, and began his career as a senior project engineer with AT&T Corporation.
“This role reflects our company’s strong commitment to leveraging economies of scale and our expertise in strategic planning and analysis to create incremental value for our stockholders and customers,” said Rice.
