William R Coad has joined Alcoa as president, Reynolds Food Packaging, part of Alcoa’s Packaging and Consumer Products business. Coad had been executive vice president, sales, marketing and international since 1997 for Solo Cup Company, which produces disposable tableware and packaging.

Reynolds Food Packaging offers a full line of stock and custom disposable packaging products for the foodservice, supermarket, processor, and agricultural markets.

Coad has held executive positions with several leading consumer products companies including president of consumer products for Bissell, Inc, the vacuum and carpet cleaning company; executive vice president, sales and marketing for James River Corporation; and in marketing with Procter & Gamble.
