Bravo! Brands, the US vitamin-fortified, flavoured milk group, has announced that its 3Musketeers Slammers Chocolate Milk and Bravo Blenders brands are to bear the logo of the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI), expanding an existing link-up between the company and the organisation.

Bravo said the initiative would help identify the products as “healthier, great-tasting beverage options”. The DRI logo has been featured on Bravo’s Slim Slammers brand for more than two years.

The appearance of the logo alerts consumers, such as those who have diabetes or who are at risk of developing diabetes, that the products are healthy and enjoyable options, Bravo said. A proportion of the proceeds of the sales of these items will support the DRI Foundation, which is a nonprofit organisation funding research at the world-renowned Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) at the University of Miami.

“Bravo! Brands is proud to support the mission of the DRI,” said CEO Roy Warren. “It is our goal to provide healthy choices for all beverage consumers, including those that have diabetes or are at risk of developing diabetes. We are very pleased to be expanding our relationship with DRI to include two new products.”
