Campbell Soup Co. has appointed Joseph Spagnoletti as senior vice president and chief information officer.
Spagnoletti will report to Campbell president and chief executive officer, Doug Conant.
Spagnoletti, 43, succeeds Doreen Wright, who led the successful implementation of SAP across the majority of Campbell’s North American operations. Spagnoletti’s appointment is effective from 1 August.
Spagnoletti will be responsible for overseeing Campbell’s global information technology (IT) function and providing IT strategy.
He will also be responsible for completing Campbell’s SAP implementation. He will lead Campbell’s worldwide IT department and manage all technical and application information systems.
