ConAgra Foods, one of North America’s leading packaged foods companies, has appointed Andre J. Hawaux as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Hawaux, 45, comes to ConAgra from PepsiCo, where he served in several senior management positions including chief financial officer for PepsiCo North America during his 25-years at the company.
“Andre worked with me at PepsiCo, and I have complete confidence in his ability to make a huge contribution at ConAgra Foods,” said Gary Rodkin, chief executive officer, ConAgra Foods. “He brings leadership, strong consumer products experience and outstanding financial skills, which will help ConAgra Foods achieve our long-term business objectives. We are very excited to have him join us. ”
Hawaux succeeds John Gehring, who was named acting CFO last week. Gehring replaced Frank Sklarsky, who left ConAgra to join Eastman Kodak. Gehring will return to his role as senior vice president and controller for ConAgra Foods.
