Packaged food company ConAgra has completed the divestiture of its seafood businesses, closing the sale of its Louis Kemp sarimi business to Trident Seafoods and Singleton Seafood, Meridian Seafood and remaining seafood brands to Singleton Fisheries. The terms of the deals were not disclosed.

As part of its plan to drive consistent and sustainable growth by focusing on areas where the company has the strongest competitive positions, ConAgra has now entirely exited the seafood business. The company also recently announced its intention to sell its cheese businesses as well as most of its refrigerated meats businesses.
