Pickle specialist M A Gedney Company has launched the first line of USDA-certified organic pickles. The pickles will be marketed under the Gedney and Del Monte brands, under a licence agreement from Del Monte.
The range, which includes Sweet Bread & Butter Chips, Dill Burger Slices, Kosher Dill Whole Pickles, Kosher Dill Baby Pickles and Kosher Dill Spears, will be available in supermarkets and health stores nationwide from April. Suggested retail prices for both the Gedney and Del Monte organic pickles will range from US$3 to $5 for a 24-ounce jar.
