US food giant Heinz has decided to close a condiments and sauces factory in Texas.
The closure of the Dallas site, which will lead to the loss of around 195 jobs, will go ahead next month.
Heinz said it wanted to “continue delivering ongoing value to customers and remain the premier portion control supplier in the industry”.
Production will move to other Heinz sites in Ohio, Florida and California.
