US confectionery giant Hershey has appointed Terence O’Day as senior vice president, global operations, with effect from 1 December.

O’Day will join Hershey from Mannatech, a global nutritional supplement and skincare company in Texas, where he was executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Prior to joining Mannatech in 2006, O’Day was executive vice president operations for Refrigerated Foods, at ConAgra.

In his new position, O’Day will report to Hershey president and CEO David West and will serve as a member of the company’s executive team.

“Terry is an outstanding addition to the company and to our executive team,” West said. “He will lead our continuing efforts to improve the competitiveness of our operations and supply chain.”

Idrovo was formerly president of Dole Packaged Foods and had previously held the CFO role.
