Interstate Bakeries, the maker of Twinkies and Wonder Bread, yesterday (13 September) reported rising losses for the four weeks ended 29 July when compared with the previous month.


 


In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the struggling food producer reported a loss of US$15m, up from a loss of $4.1m posted in June.


 


The company must issue monthly financial updates having filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September 2004.
