US natural food company Kashi has expanded its product line with the addition of a wheat cereal with “natural” ingredients.
Island Vanilla is a cereal of shredded wheat pieces naturally sweetened using evaporated cane juice crystals infused with organic vanilla extract.
“Pure vanilla has such a delicate, unique flavour that Island Vanilla brings to life,” said Keegan Sheridan, natural food and lifestyle expert for Kashi. “And although our ingredient list is simple, we think the taste is anything but. Plus, each serving has a whole day’s serving of whole grains, making Island Vanilla’s a nutritious way to enjoy your breakfast.”
Kashi said the cereal contains no artificial ingredients and is free of highly refined sugars, artificial additives and preservatives. The cereal is also 95% organic.
