US cereal giant Kellogg has expanded its Special K cereal range to include two additional products.

Special K Pop Corn Chips and Special K Pastry Crisps are targeted at the female market, Kellogg said, with a focus on women looking to “overcome dieting boredom”.

Special K Popcorn Chips comprises two varieties: Butter and Sweet & Salty and contain 120 calories and 2g of fat. Special K Pastry Crisps are available in two variants: Chocolaty Delight and Brown Sugar Cinnamon and contain 100 calories.

“Every new product from Kellogg is developed based on keen insights into the lifestyles, taste preferences and nutrition needs of our consumers,” said Brad Davidson, president of Kellogg North America. “By leveraging these emerging trends, we continue to introduce hot new products that excite both our consumers and our retail partners.”
