Mars North America has announced a three-year sponsorship deal for M&M’s and other key brands with the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) NASCAR team and driver Kyle Busch. The sponsorship will begin with the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

The company said that during the 2008 season, Mars North America brands will serve as the primary sponsor of JGR’s No. 18 Sprint Cup Series team for a total of 30 point races.


In addition to M&M’s, Mars said the Snickers and Pedigree brands will also will serve as primary sponsors for several races.


Mars also plans for the Combos, Twix and Skittles brands to feature as associate sponsors. The deal continues an association the company has had with NASCAR dating back to 1990.
