Natural foods company Nikken has expanded its Fukuroi plant in Japan.
The expansion involves a new “state-of-the art” spray drier, which is now in operation, the company said today (21 October).
“The new spray drier will enhance our business growth here in America as well as around the world,” said Herb Bench, executive vice president. “It has the capacity to produce a maximum of 100 metric tons per month.”
The facility was built to the company’s “strict zoning codes” in order to prevent any contamination, the company said.
It has been designed with a fully automatic cleaning system and will produce around 90 products.
