DD Williamson, a leading provider of food colourings, has bought the Wisconsin-based Dinesen Trading Company.

Williamson is currently the worlds leading manufacturer of caramel food colouring. The acquisition of Dinesen compliments the company’s existing colorMaker line and the July purchase of Artemis International. Its expanded natural colours range now includes Elderberry, Chokeberry, Annatto, Tumeric, Paprika and Carmine.

“We are expanding our natural colour offerings and expertise to broaden our palate and solutions for customers,” said Edie Nixon, Williamson president. “We plan to deliver the same focus on product quality, customer service, and innovation that our caramel colour customers have grown to expect.”
