US retailer Winn-Dixie Stores has appointed four executives to run initiatives on pricing, private label, buying and benefits.

Chris Vukich has joined Winn-Dixie as vice president of pricing and will be responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for the company.
Prior to joining, Vukich held positions at Dell and Wal-Mart International.
Joe McKie, Winn-Dixie’s vice president of corporate brands, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s corporate brands initiatives, including the redesign and relaunch of Winn-Dixie’s private-label products.
McKie previous held positions at companies including Federated Group and Daymon Worldwide, and most recently was president and CEO of Kreative Brand Solutions.

By GlobalDataMatt Gutermuth, previously of Safeway, now serves as Winn-Dixie’s vice president of Center Store, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the grocer’s buying and merchandising departments.
Meanwhile, Mark Tanis, previously of Watson Wyatt Worldwide, is Winn-Dixie’s vice president of compensation and benefits, and is responsible for the planning and implementation of the company’s compensation and benefits programmes.
