US grocery retailer Albertsons has announced that it has named Duncan Mac Naughton senior vice president of merchandising.

Mac Naughton most recently served as group vice president, grocery merchandising. In this new role, Mac Naughton will lead Albertsons’ merchandising efforts across food, general merchandise, health & beauty care, fuel, and alcohol.
Mac Naughton has also spent six years in key leadership roles at H-E-B, most recently as group vice president of grocery and corporate brands. Prior to H-E-B, he spent 13 years with Kraft Foods.
