The American Stock Exchange began trading in options on the New York Stock-listed stock of The Quaker Oats Company (Symbol: OAT) on Monday, December 11, 2000.

The Quaker Oats Company options will open with position limits of 60,000 contracts. The options will trade on the January cycle. The specialist will be Cranmer & Cranmer, Inc. The Quaker Oats Company manufactures food and sports beverages.
