US confectionery firm Brach’s is to move its corporate headquarters to Dallas from Chicago.
Brach’s, which was acquired in September by Swiss chocolate maker Barry Callebaut, said the move would put it closer to a new plant it has built in Mexico, reported the Associated Press.
“We think with our new facility and our new parent company that Brach’s has a new start and new competitive advantages we didn’t have before,” Brach’s CEO Terry O’Brien told AP.
