Campbell Soup Co. has put second quarter net income at 63 cents to 65 cents a share, or 4 to 6 cents higher than estimates, due to strong performance in its US soup business but the company reiterated that full-year earnings will be essentially flat. Campbell will report second quarter results on Feb. 14.
