Corn Products International has announced that its board of directors elected Eugene J. Northacker, 60, as a corporate VP. He has also been named president of the North America division.
Jorge L. Fiamenghi, 46, who is a corporate VP, has been appointed president of the South America division.
Northacker and Fiamenghi will report to Sam Scott, chairman, president and CEO.
Scott said: “We are pleased that (Gene) Northacker will lead our corn- refining business in North America. He has served in a number of key positions within the company, including successful development of our South American business.
“I appreciate (Jorge) Fiamenghi returning to head South America again, bringing his business acumen and years of experience in the entire region, including Argentina.”

By GlobalDataThe company also announced that Jack C. Fortnum, 45, corporate VP, has been named the president US region. He will report to Northacker. Fortnum has served in operations and financial roles in the US, Argentina and Canada.
