Joel R. Wittenberg has been promoted to vice president and treasurer of Kellogg Company (NYSE: K). Wittenberg, formerly vice president and assistant treasurer, assumes the treasurer’s position from W. Stephen Perry, vice president, taxes and treasury.  He will continue to report to Perry.


Wittenberg joined Kellogg Company in September 2000 from Armstrong World Industries, where he was vice president and treasurer.  He has more than 15 years of experience in global treasury, financial and commodity risk management, and pension functions.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA in finance from the University of Michigan.
