Supply chain integrator Agribuys announced yesterday the appointment of Tushar Gadhia to head up its newly formed Agribuys University and all global training activities.

“Effective and efficient training will be a cornerstone of our success as we aggressively expand customer implementations both domestically and globally.  The challenges of simultaneously training thousands of users across the world make the use of innovative training technology essential,” said Marina Kotsianas, President and CEO of Agribuys.

“Tushar brings a tremendous depth of experience to the Agribuys team,” stated Dhruba Kalita, CTO and co-founder of Agribuys.  “During his career, he has created programs to match the varied requirements of both company members and clients from several countries worldwide.  As an emerging global leader, Agribuys recognizes its responsibility to provide cost-effective training options so our customers can obtain the maximum benefit from our technology.  Several of the options will be Internet-based, multilingual and available 24/7.”

Said Gadhia, “I’m extremely pleased to assist Agribuys as it expands its global customer base.  Agribuys’ Management Team recognizes the importance of training its customers to help them meet the evolving challenges of the marketplace.  Shortly, we will begin building Agribuys University, which will utilize state-of-the-art technology to provide multiple channels for our clients to receive instruction in subjects such as collaboration and supply chain management.”

Prior to Agribuys, Gadhia was Chief Learning Architect for CoLearnEx, where he created innovative instructional design and development methodology to facilitate knowledge-based learning.  Before his term at CoLearnEx, he held a range of positions in training as well as software development with software service companies including Oracle Corporation, Computer Horizons Corporation and AGS Information Services.  At Oracle, he developed programs for clients worldwide and conducted train-the-trainer events for Oracle instructors.  Gadhia has gained extensive experience working with clients during the launch and management of such leading software products as PL/SQL.
