US biotech giant Monsanto revealed yesterday that a long running dispute with US chemicals giant DuPont had come to an end.

DuPont’s corn seed supplier subsidiary, Pioneer Hi-Bred, has agreed to sell corn hybrids containing a certain GM trait under a royalty-bearing licence from Monsanto.

Specific details of the agreement between the companies were not revealed, but several lawsuits over the issue are understood to have been dropped.
