(Washington, DC) In an effort to further enhance its membership and consumer services, the National Restaurant Association today launched an online store on its Web site, www.restaurant.org, where all the Association’s publications and products can be purchased with the click of a mouse. The online store is the newest addition to the expanding site.
“The National Restaurant Association developed the online store as part of our constant effort to serve our members and the public more effectively, efficiently and conveniently,” said Association President and Chief Executive Officer Steven C. Anderson. “In today’s high-tech world, being able to obtain product information and place an order from your computer is a convenience for busy shoppers, just as takeout and delivery foods are for busy diners. We’re very excited to bring this value-added, e-commerce option to our site.”
The online store features best-selling publications such as Opening a Restaurant and the 2001 Restaurant Industry Operations Report, as well as gifts such as the Chef Bear stuffed toy. Association members can log in to enjoy discounts and special deals.
In addition to the online order form, Restaurant.org offers other convenient ordering options, including a downloadable order form for faxing. Those who prefer to order via telephone may still do so by calling (800) 482-9122. Catalogs can also be ordered or downloaded via the Web site.
To browse the online store and shop 24 hours a day, seven days a week, please visit www.restaurant.org/store.
