Seattle-based coffeehouse chain Starbucks Corporation has posted consolidated net revenues of US$267m for the four-week period ended 25 August 2002, up 25% from US$214m in the same period in fiscal 2001.
On a comparable store sales basis (stores open for at least 13 months), sales at company-operated stores increased 7% for the month as compared to the same four-week period in fiscal 2001.
In the year to date period, consolidated net revenues were US$3bn, an increase of 24% from consolidated net revenues of US$2.4bn for the same period in FY 2001. Comparable store sales increased 6% for the 47 weeks ended 25 August 2002, as compared to the same 47-week period in FY 2001.
