Texan beef producers have unveiled a new statewide logo for their meat products, in a bid to reassure consumers by guaranteeing a high level of quality.

The logo, which is already used by the Texas Beef Council within recipe booklets, consists of a red tick with a white bull’s head and the word “beef.”

“The check mark will tell consumers that the beef industry is using safety practices and prevention measures to ensure quality,” revealed beef extension specialist Ted McCollum III. “We want to use this new logo to promote quality in the beef industry.”
