A nutrition consultancy centre has been opened in HCMC by the domestic giant Vinamilk, with a view to providing free examination and consultancy for all people, according to sales manager Le Hong Sanh.
Sanh commented that the majority of Vietnamese do not have access to information on nutrition: “That explains why our company opens this centre. If it operates well, we will open some more.”
Vinamilk is a dairy, milk and juice producer, exporting to the US, Middle East and Southeast Asian countries. It manufacturers over 100 difference products, and has plans to launch five more products every year. Sanh pointed out that the company contributes VNÐ2bn to “the national program against malnutrition” per year.
The centre will be run by nutrition specialist Dr Nguyen Lan Dinh, and will be open from 7:30am to 16:30pm daily.
