On July 28, Rudolph M. J. Baader founded the BAADER company in Lübeck, Germany.
The development of automated fish heading, gutting, filleting, and skinning machines for ocean and fresh water fish species established the BAADER company as a leader in automated industrial fish processing by the 1950's.
Since 1953 the son of the company founder Mr. Rudolf G Baader has led the BAADER enterprises. In addition, his farsightedness led to the diversification of BAADER towards other important food sectors.
