Winetech 2025, the premier event for the wine industry, will be held from 21-23 July at the Adelaide Convention Centre, with Australian innovator and manufacturer Flavourtech presenting an expert Floortalk during the event.

Flavourtech’s Global Sales Manager Paul Ahn will be presenting NoLo – The Next Generation in Low Temperature Vacuum Distillation from 11:30 am on Wednesday 23 July.

Flavourtech pioneered dealcoholisation technology nearly 40 years ago and their flagship Spinning Cone Column (SCC) technology is now considered to be the technology of choice for alcohol removal from wine. The SCC offers several benefits to the wine industry, particularly in terms of flavour/colour retention and the ability to process liquids containing suspended solids. The technology has recently received several exciting updates, including the ability to produce wine-based products at <0.05% ABV, without external flavours, and the delivery of alcohol output concentrations of >90% ABV.

Flavourtech has recently released a smaller version of their Spinning Cone technology, known as the SCC100 (pictured above). This easy to use and maintain skid-mounted unit will be on display at their WineTech stand this July. It’s the perfect opportunity to get an up close look at this compact unit that’s perfect for wineries wishing to enter the new NoLo market.
